4. AlyRec-CD 2005
AlyRec-CD 2005 includes AlyBase 2005 and the absolute 3-5
men length record
problems (see the previous chapter!) with the solutions (up to 126# / 126=)
solved
by Alybadix 2005. There are 130 material combinations for mate and stalemate,
max 99 problems of each 4 categories (w/b begins, dualfree/dualistic solution),
total 30692 positions!
You can easily search and view the problems and solution moves with the
help
of the included AlyBase program direct from the CD (without installing
on the hard disk).
Also Alybadix solving program (AP.EXE) 2005 and APwin
2005 are able to view the solutions.
AlyRec-CD also includes the detailed statistics files for each material
(tab-files generated by Simo Blom's program EG).
Below is an example of the statistics file KD-kt#.tab (mate, wKing+wQueen
- bKing+bRook).
Explanations:
-subgames: One or more men captured.
-reduced: The number of non-symmetric positions. This is about
1/8 of
the corresponding
number of the nonreduced positions.
-all: The number of all problems.
-df: The number of the dualfree
problems (must include 1 or more
dualfree variations).
-wtm: White to move.
-btm: Black to move.
-win: White wins.
-nowin: White does not win.
-legal: Legal positions.
-illeg: Illegal positions (obs. EG cannot see multiple
checks illegality).
-0.5: This row means the number of
the positions where
black is in
mate.
