Duplicate
problems
in
Fide Albums 1914-1997
Duplicate problems can be found quickly with the help of APwin v2004- as follows:
-If
there
are
problems with the
same filename in different directories, rename them at first.
Hint:
APwin has the option "Rename all files in a subdir".
-Copy
all problem files to one directory (=folder).
-Open all
solution or position files from APwin.
-Select "Search".
-Check
"8-fold symmetry" and "+ relative positions"
boxes.
-Select "Duplic test" to begin the search of the
duplicates.
Obs. Aly-CD 2005 and newer allows installing all Fide Album solution files to one directory (installing way 2)!
